Job: Web Developer/Programmer

Web Developer

A Web Developer is responsible for creation and design of clients’ websites according to specification.
Responsible for developing innovative, reusable Web-based tools for progressive
online activism and community building.


Programmer

Work with the user on development of the software specification. Ability to create and document a conceptual and detailed design
and write a code based on a conceptual description of the business logic.

Duties and Responsibilities

* To design and develop the corporate website ensuring strong functionality and optimisation
* To design and develop relational database systems and their web interfaces.
* Responsible for integrating the SQL Server database with the company website.
* Responsible for the design of company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.
* To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
* To monitor web server and site technical performance.
* Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes.

Required Skills

* Graduate of BSIT/BSCS or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
* Has experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS
* Has minimum Web programming experience, including PHP, ASP or JSP
* Has experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL
* Development experience using extensible web authoring tools
* Self-starter with strong self-management skills
* Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
